It’s important to be on time with quitting subscriptions and other recurring expenses. Also some last medical and dental checks before leaving is necessary.
These are the things we must think of before leaving:
1. Quit DUO and Studielink (study funder and study related administration)
2. Apply for our diplomes, and also certificate of graduation and grading list as temporary proove that we are graduated until we have our scanned diplomes sent abroad since we won’t be able to join our graduation day
3.Quit side jobs
4. Quit phone subscriptions
5. Quit Pathé subscription (unlimited movie card)
6. Quit Pearle Post ( receiving monthly lenses through post) and order 6 pack lenses for the upcoming half year
7. Quit OV/NS subscription ( public transport card)
8. Get necessary medications/last vaccinations
9. Last time check at the dentist
10. Make copies of and scanning important documents such as passports, visas, bank cards, health- and travel insurance cards, etc.
11. Test-pack to see if everything fits in our backpacks or not ( I already know the answer of this one)
12. Test our new gear (Canon 6D, mic, Go pro, etc)
13. Download Lonely Planets on our laptop/Ipad
14. Finish our website/blog
15. Say goodbye to family & friends!
