Day 5: Goodbye Santorini

Day 5: Today was our last day in Santorini, so we wanted to make the most out of it and see some other parts of the island. There are many places where you can rent bikes or ATVs for a cheap price, so we decided to do that (and also my legs wouldn’t cooperate after the 4,5-hours walk/hiking of yesterday). We rent a bike for 25 euros for a whole day and rode to Pyrgos and some other small villages around it. There was this high hill in the neighbourhood with a cool hiking trail we wanted to do as well. You don’t know how painful it was for me to walk that trail, but hey when I was up that high in the sky I refused to complain about the pain and just wanted to enjoy the environment I was finding myself in. After enjoying yet another beautiful view in Santorini we headed back to our main town. For the last time we enjoyed a tasty Greek dish, watched one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world, took a deep breath and prepared our minds for our next adventure: Turkey!

Note: I have decided to blog our experiences per place/city we visit and we are gonna post general blogs once in a while with practical info. It’s not really practical and do-able to blog daily. Also there are going to be lazy days we don’t do anything and reading a blog with just bullshit is going to bore you guys.
