Day 5: Today was our last day in Santorini, so we wanted to make the most out of it and see some other parts of the island. There are many places where you can rent bikes or ATVs for a cheap price, so we decided to do that (and also my legs wouldn’t cooperate after the 4,5-hours walk/hiking of yesterday). Day 3: Farhang suggested to do NOTHING today. After our breakfast, we put our sun beds at our balcony and just lay down, did some reading, writing and listening to music. Did you know there are no street names in Santorini? There was indeed one path leading to Fira from the place we stayed. Today, 5 september, was the day we had been waiting for more than 2 years of preparations. Our dream was about to come true: we would leave our comfortable homes to discover the big unknown world. Our flight would departure from Bruxelles (Belgium) and Farhang’s dad would drop us off.
